Anyone who buys a new Fountain out of state is nuts. Today Scott Shogren brought a 47' trailer down to Diversey Harbor so he could pull my boat out of the water and replace the drive - in the parkiing lot.
OK, we couldn't get the center drive back on, but he was out there in the blazing sun, with his sidekick, Greg grunting and groaning, all to get me back in the water.
I can't imagine any amount of money you could save on a boat from an out of state dealer that would make it worth NOT have Scott Shogren standing behind your boat.
I was pretty impressed, but that's just me.
