4 Boys Teak Surfing behind a Boat
 

Hi! I was just reading one of the comments on the forum and I would like to ask you if you remember anything about those 4 boys beinhd a boat teak surfing? I tried opening the link you have posted on the forum but for some reason, it woudn't open. I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me any more information like where that video was taken. I believe there was also a mention of an article and an article about the lawsuit on the abc news website.

I believe it was in my back yard here in Lake Folsom California...I remember the nighmare buzz in the neighborhood and the Medical Helicoptor airlifting the victims-awefull...especially when children are involved

Go into Yahoo search or Google search and type in 'sacramento teak surfing deaths' you can find info on what ever you need. It happened in Lake Folsom last year.
Yes it is boat teak surfing that I could never understand why boaters would allow anyone behind at the transom of a boat running let along in gear moving-Very sad...

New law in place in California which I beleive a $250 fine if caught...and much more awareness of the dangers.

Basically these kids were hanging onto the swim platform while the boat was moving forward... kinda like we used to do as kids with out skateboards and any car that happened down our road! The picture above shows it....
