Hatch lift motors
 

Who sells hatch lift motors. Mines too fat to fit between my engines since my exhaust ports are higher and out further on my new heads :( . Looking for a thinner one to fit or a longer one to relocate forward of the manifolds.
Current one is 2" dia and 17" long

Just keep what you have now and get new Exhaust! Its a good reason Right? :D :D
I know eddie marine sells them but I think there 2" also.

Well...These are Imco Powerflows and new ones might be even wider :eek: ??

I have the 12' now. Looks like the 24" could be the ticket( and move it forward) if i can't find a thinner one. :cool:

I found a hydraulic hatch lifter system in south Florida--I have same problem and this one would work because the shaft was only 1 1/2".

Now I need to find the link or the posting. Bennett is one-- http://www.bennetttrimtabs.com/hatchlift.htm but there is an even better one if I can find the link -- http://www.apimarine.com/ -- is the good one--

The Cat is custom fitted, electric screws right out of the Grainger catalog.

Check with C.P. Performance. The one in my 382 is made by Motion Industries.

Not right off hand. My maintenace dept orders all that stuff. Me and the Grainger catalogs never got along.

They were a few hundred bucks each and 12Volt set up. Have been perfect so far. Works on a screw system, slow but steady. There are multiple options of length.

I have some pics on my other computer. Will try to dig those out and also get the part # tomorrow.

I typed in many descriptions in the grainger site in an attempt to find them. What are they called?

A company called Autolok out of Oregon makes a thin actuator that all the newer Velocitys use, contact me if you want their info and I'll get it for you. Or, how about the hydraulic sissor hinges that Dana has.
