Done Vinyl on my boat, cheep and easy and it made the boat look so much better!!!

Who is powder coating these days that does good work..I need some tanks coated....and a bunch of parts for my mack.

The vinyl they use on buses for see thru graphics is the answer--best of both worlds. Color (or even graphics) on the glass but you canstill see thru.

Good thought, see through vinyl never came to mind. I'll check into it see how it works, thanks

The see-thru effect is achieved by perforations that are quite visible when viewed at close range. This also prevents a true white look- more of a very light gray especially if there are no printed graphics on the piece. One downside of it is the perfs hold water and tend to impede visibility- which may or may not be an issue for you. They also collect dirt and wax. FYI-The adhesive side of the mat'l is black.

When I read the title, the first thing that went through my mind was that Rustoleum for plastic. I painted some plastic vents with it, and got some on my hands. It took two weeks for me to get that stuff off! :eek:
