They use your splined shift I add a tube on them 12'' long on the drives. the boxes bolt on with studs with thread locks so they cant ever pull out no panels needed bolt the Gimbel to the box and put it on the boat all one i picked up more speed with them they work good

Is it possible to drop the tranny back into the ex-boxes so the motor canalso be pushed back? Otherwise it's a bravo convert. with ex's that stops you from having to re-do the transom

yes you can move it back the boxes are hollow
