+44 is the international code for England, and something starting with a 7 is usually a cell (mobile) phone. The numbers are written in a peculiar way though - we never use "-" between the numbers here, and would space them like this - +44 7404 113373. The only way to be sure is to call the number! His English is a little "off" as well!

If I was a betting man, I would guess he will ask you if you will take a bankers draft for more than the asking price, and then ask for the differance to be refunded, I also believe that he is unlikely to be in England!

Yeah, the typical scam. I want to play this dude as if I had "sucker" tattoed to my forehead. I thought if his address was real, an OSO brother would knock on his door & shock the $hit out of him.

If I knew how to send a virus to him, I would !!!

Thumbs up Re: Any Members From London,uk

IF YOURE SERIOUS,, keep his email.

In the header(porperties) of that email will be the name and IP address of the mail servers that moved the mail from his Machine to yours.

The 'helo= field will unquely identify the machine when in front of it.

A 'who is' lookup on the internet will give you the GPS coordinates of the mail servers that handled the mail.

MCaffee firewall will do a trace route on each and every IP address and give you there location along the way.

The lastr bit to be done by the police is getting the IP address and helo statement tied down to a user account.

I used to do coorporate email for IBM, I can help you with some of this if you want to catch the sucker. Even if they dont prosecute, you can still bang the SH*T out of the sucker.
