Re: New Owner is Thrilled
The "Mary Kay calling" Top Gun was hard to keep shrouded in secrecy for so long. It was hard not to spill the beans that she had come all the way across country to CA. I am excited to see a resurgence of Cigs on the West coast. See ya soon Tank!
I was very impressed with the boat upon delivery (big thanks to bgchubby Jeff Murray for overseeing shipping arrangements) as the hull appeared to be washed from 15 yards away. In reality, it was peppered with bugs. Steve's detailers must have waxed that hull once a week. This was my first encounter with the boat. You see, all transaction were completed through e-mail and phone conversations.
Another big thanks to Ed Cozzi for a very thorough and impartial survey and sea trial. He even called to follow up to see my first impressions of the boat., not knowing that I had not taken delivery. Ed even shot me a few pointers for performance.
Not everyone is a crook in the marine industry. These are good people to deal with and I would recommend them highly to anyone. The boat is much better than anticipated. I can't wait to run again this weekend!

Not surprised at all. It is a very nice boat and the Berks are a great bunch. Congratulations on a nice boat, I`m sure that you will get many hours of enjoyment out of it.

P.W., I was stolked to here L.S.'s boat was coming out West. Even happier to hear the deal was a success. I thought long and hard about that boat but in the end decided on the boat we bought. After the wedding/honeymoon for Kelly and I, we'll deffinately have to hook up and run these guns!!
