Stolen Boat

Does anyone know of a website to post information or even a forum where I can notify the boating community if they spot my boat? It was stolen on May 18 - cameras in the lot were not good quality and the police could not make out the license plate. I guess this is a good place for me to start. The boat is a 2003 Formula 260SS called NautiGal, white hull with green imron on the top half, HIN TNRD2699B303 it has a 496 Mag HO serial number 0M628097 and was on a LoadRite trailer VIN 5A4RCWZ2432000200. Any information would be greatly appreciated. THANKs

Send pics over to me on email and I'll post them for you. I'll keep an eye out in southern NJ, but we really need to see pics of it and the trailer, it's already been 4 days since May18 :( Get some photos out there quick! :hothead:

EDIT:You can send them to [email protected] and let me know when/if you send them.

Nautigal

We also met at the NYC Poker Run last year, I know your boat, I'll keep an look out for it in the LI Sound area. Check the NPBA site, I think there is a picture or two of your boat, you might be able to pull one from there. Good luck!

How do you get away with steeling a boat? Especially with today's internet access... is there any new news on this rig? Hope you find it soon.

I always think the same thing every time I hear of a boat theft. My guess is they were after the engine and drive- a relatively new boat, obviously well cared for... just my thought. Anyway, I hope things work out for you, NautiGal.

Re: Stolen Boat

I am sorry to hear that the boat was stolen, unfortunatly it is probably long gone and parted out by now. I missed you up in Lake George last summer. I hope you can get the boat replaced in time for the NYC Poker Run. Our crew had a blast with your crew and was looking forward to doing it all over again this year.

Good luck

Bob

Re: Stolen Boat

Yes hard to believe that someone can just drive off with a boat and trailer. The police actually have the dept of transportation involved looking at videos from route 46 and also the GWBridge. The boat was in excellent condition well maintained and that night it had the full travel cover so you did not know really what was under the cover. We think they were scoping it out and on Saturday when I went to put the travel cover on they knew it was leaving. There was a total of 3 vehicles involved within a 3 hour time period between late Saturday night and very early Sunday morning. First scoped it out, second broke the lock and third took the boat. Keeping my fingers crossed that the videos produce a license plate.
