I prefer a pair of these for the boat. You did say eye candy, right? Well, they do have glasses on....

I think it comes down to two basic options: wear eyewear or don't wear eyewear. Offhand, I can't really think of any significant pros for not wearing eyewear

I'm thinking along the lines of goggle type glasses.
Above 60mph, my glasses create a buffeting effect.
Above 70mph, w/ no eye protection isn't very safe.
