the follwing is a events schedule for the return of offshore racing to ft myers beach.

May 28, 2005 Poker Run
10:00 am- Registration 10:30- Launch

June 4, 2005- Golf Tournament Pelican Preserve
7:30 am- Golf Registration 8 am- Shotgun Start Lunch and Awards will follow

June 5, 2005- Blu Hawaii
12:00 noon- 4:30 pm- Blu Sushi

June 9, 2005- Welcome Racers Party
6:00- 10:00 pm- Leapin Lizards

June 10, 2005- Cape Coral Block Party
6:00- 10:00 pm- Big John's Parking Lot Entertainment by Juice

June 11, 2005 Fort Myers Beach
10 am- 5 pm-Testing Cape Coral
7- 10pm Entertainment in the pits (Tarpon Point)

June 12, 2005
Fort Myers Beach 10 am- 5 pm- Race 7 pm- Award Ceremony at Tarpon Point

I spoke to the event organizers and they said the poker run was canceled because of concerns of the holiday weekend and safety reasons.
