Where can I launch on Lk George/

Where can I launch on Lk George? I've never boated up there and would love to sometime. I've got a 30', so I need some room to leave the truck/trlr overnight if possible. Don't mind paying, just want a nice launch. Any pics or info would be great.

Chics Marine. Right across the street from my house. I launch the Tiger there. You should be fine with a 30'

You may also launch up the street from Chic's at NOROWAL Marina. On the east side of the lake where it is less congested is Fischer's Marina. Good luck and enjoy!

Norowal wont launch any boat that size anymore. You can try but...

As far as permits, I believe any launch also sells the proper paperwork

His name is "Corky". Gotta know 'em to love 'em. In high school I worked there as a dock boy, and he was a great boss to work for. Most other dock boys didn't like him. I did, because he was fair to everyone and consistant! When you do get to know him and understand how things have to work there to operate smoothly so everyone can get launched efficiently, and you know how utterly STUPID people can be launching, and how they will take up 3 lanes of a 2 lane launch ramp, and 3 parking spots with 1 car in the unloading area, you begin to understand that it takes someone like that to ensure a smooth operation.

In fact, if more ramps had dock masters like that, there would be far less frustration at the launch!

I have to agree with Shane. I launch out of Norowal's most often because they are organized and there ARE a lot of clueless people at ramps. There is a free state ramp at the north end of the lake near Roger's Rock, however if you want to go to town you'll spend alot more than $50 (or $47) in fuel to get there.
