That boat is CLEAN....Old School hangs out with us in Lloyds Creek on occasion. Watched him run my brother in his old 28 Apache....The were way down the bay when they stopped.....couldn't beat the grin off of any of the faces that day!!!

Yes and No; he had a 24' Pantera bought it new from the factory in 1979, it was red. I hull-sides it repainted white with a red stripe, never had a name on it though. Sold the Pantera, and put the Magnum together.

Thank you for the compliment. How fast is that 28' Apache now a days? Did the boat get re-powered after your brother sold it? I heard it is faster? What's the scoop?

I think I misunderstood you yesterday, - big blocks be careful, that is not a problem at all, but the docking lights and racing - that can be a problem if you stabbed a wave, potentially blowing out a light and taking some water. It has never happened, but I do think about that sometimes when we race people when we are air-born. In 30 years it has never happened so hopefully the good trend will continue. So if that what you meant by be careful, you are correct.

Repowered the beginning of last summer.548/650'[email protected] rpm.
