NEED Long Island RAMP INFO.........
Does anyone know the closest free boat ramp to the Nautical Mile in Freeport Long Island........it can also be a pay ramp as well.

Yes I do.. Take Merrick road, when you get just West of the MeadowBrook Parkway, bear south by the Amoco station. I am not sure of the street name, but it is the same road that BJ's is on. Just after you make that south turn, maybe 50 feet down, take the first left. There are a few ramps on the left side about 1 mile down. I haven't used them in a while, but they were new a few years ago. This will put you on the North end of Freeport creek. Just North of the power station.

You are welcome. I keep my boat at Grovers in Freeport. I pass there all the time, but I just don't remember the street names. Now that I thought about it, I think the ramp is on Albany ave. I will be going out on my boat in the morning. Unless I get stupid and forget, I will check the street names for you.
