:drink: I just wanted to thank LEOPA for hosting an outstanding Poker Run yesterday, the weather was perfect and the run was well organized, the people were great and the old Fountain was runnin hard all day :D :D

Lee, I second that and it was great meeting you. We had a blast even though we arrived just in time for the last leg. What a beautiful sight after a crazy morning to to pull up and see about 30 offshore boats, it was a great turnout for the first run of the season. There were some awesome cigs, fountains, hustlers, apache's, sonics, outerlimits, ocean express, bajas, donzi's and even a Black Thunder :drink: What a deal $25.00 for a poker hand, lunch, pig roast, and DJ. Thank's Gerry you did a GREAT job. A few of the OSOers out for the run were Madcow, Tizbad, RedDog, Express Cat 39, Half Nutz, and Scott. We missed GlassDave I heard he slept in :drink: and Fund Razor was a no show :(

Today we went over to Kelly's island where we met up with some of the more eastern Lake Erie members of LEOPA. LEOPAJM, Wicked Won, RHC, and Express Cat 39, boy did we have a good time :drink: :drink: I took a bunch of pictures only they all came out like crap :( it was either the sun or the alcohol that messed those pictures up :D

Really nice meeting both of you. Wish we could have talked more, but had a really late overbeveraged night on Friday, up way too early Saturday AM, and a hot sticky day just pooped me out!

Latest news on the St. Clair OSS race is that GLSCS referees Rich and Mark will be officiating, but is no longer a GLSCS event. There is a strong possibility OPA will become involved and if so, there will be P-class racing. I will try to let you know if any other developments.

We had so much run running from Kelly's that we skipped Put In Bay and just kept going all the way back to Monroe. We arrived in our driveway almost the second the storm blew in, and what a storm it was. I guess we made the right decision to head for home.

I hope to see you guys with the "Fish Boats" enjoy a fun event like the Spring run we just had. We enjoyed a beautiful day on the water with good friends and no drama.

Gerry did a fantastic job of organizing/coordinating the run. The stops were receptive to us and I still can't believe the hospitality at Clamdiggers. We ordered something off the menu instead of what he offered and would not let us pay for it!

Nice to be boating again I'm now back at my dock at CP and will see you guys at Kelly's soon.

I was bummed. I thought about you guys, though.

My busy season culminated in our annual telethon broadcast yesterday. I am the executive producer and I put in over 80 hours last week. I was hoping to be free Saturday, but that didn't happen.

My schedule is much better for the next few months.

I promise not to miss the next chance to see you guys.

Looked good guys, I was the one in the Bass boat with my brother and dad with the 250 merc sitting outside the Raisin River when you all came out from lunch. Boats looked great running by at speed out of the channel. Wish I had a digi camera with me I could have gotten some great shots.

I hope everyone had a great time. Gerry Buie did a wonderful job and everything came out great.

The weather gods shined down upon us once again. We had some great stops and put plenty of time on the boats.

Were any of you at the Casino saturday afternoon ... 3-5 ish? There was a really cool Cigarette in the front row. Had a grey Cig logo and lots of color comin off of it. Ive never seen this boat before and Im in love. I wish I would have gotten a pic of it. :cool:

Steph was with us :p He let me drive!!!!!!!!!!!! Im still smilin. Those motors (and boat) are beautiful. :cool:

I wanted to be there Sunday when you guys came in but I didnt have the right "overnight" offer or an offer for a ride over on Sunday (this boat moochin thing sucks) :rolleyes:

Racegirl unfortunately we will not be at Roger's run, we are already comitted to a run in Chicago, which is a bummer; between Roger's fun run and the LEOPA Round House Party it is sure to be a great weekend :drink:
