Looks great. I'm looking forward to seeing it this year. That was a lot of work. Post some pictures of the motor set up when you can.

My insurance agent owns a big Revo named Mr Cig with tripps......its for sale.....not sure if its the boat your talking about.......I could ask him....................doug

Re: revolution restoration

thanks pmt, i actualy got the pleasure of speakin to craig of dragon powerboats via e-mail and got the full story on the boat.
update: we got the props back from throttle-up ready for the larger shafts, perfect job just as suspected would be :D . we sent a pvc mock up for the center exhaust to stainless marine (the center exhaust will exit the sides), and are adding flared turn downs on the rear exhaust to run the exhaust into the water while not on plane to keep noise down. the engines were all built, except the molds to the m3 procharger carburetor enclosure were ruined we found out, but the guy from procharger did a great job gettin us three out of the new molds asap, and even guarnteed if they werent ready by a certain date that procharged would make the molds themselves. my dad dropped off the enclosures to burke today, so i outta be able to get a pic of all three of the motors done next weekend. i dont no if i already said this, but the drives are all on, ready to go, now ready to dyno one of the mills soon, and start cuttin holes fer exhaust. :D :D :D im ready for summer! almost...

Re: revolution restoration

also just curious...the original name of the boat was Attack, which actualy is a cool name. and papi dont wanna namethe boat 2hot4u cuse he thniks itll piss peeps off... adn wants to keep it as 2hot....which makes no sense at all spellin it with a 2 instead of too cuse it has 3 engines :p so do you think it would look better as it is, or with a big ATTACK in white on each side with maybe a mouth in the front like on older military fighters? thanks

Re: revolution restoration

well that works too i guess :drink: i just find no correlation between the boat and using a numeral 2 in the name 2hot instead of writing it out...mayb its just me :p

Re: revolution restoration

we got some misc parts in incl, cup holders, and hydraulics to try and make the hatch work with the very minimal space that will be left....stainless sent us some 5in pipes to use to dyno one of the motors.....daaang a 5 in pipe looks larger than ud think :D were tryin to get ahold of monstaa to make panels for the left side since we couldny find a new map cover, and bill casson (sign4boat) to make a 4u to go after 2hot on the sides. ive been tryin to go down to see the mills, but too freakin busy lately...since we got the test pipes in we should be goin down soon to get pics of mills and drives. this is taking waaaay to dam long.....

Re: revolution restoration

aeighty.. well we just got in the stainless marine pipes yesterday for the rear, and the tig welded center pipes for the center today to make sure the dimensions all work.. we have been very happy with stainless marine, and after picking to use em for exhaust after talkin wit brownie at the miami show, have to say this is the only part of the resto that has gone faster and smoother than expected, and recommend them to anyone lookin fer exhaust. plus, they sure look shiny :D were decided if we can to send an engine to dean gellner to dyno, tune etc. and will be setting all the engines in, and putting the drives actualy on this week hopefully, so we can see if exhaust fits, and find out where we can squeeze our two new hatch hydraulics in...so thats fer the update.... :D i reeealy need a digital camera so i can take some frigin pics

Re: revolution restoration

I think your engine builders Dyno is still sitting in his old building here, in Cin....Or the guys that did the machine work up here could probanly get you hooked up on a dyno. Not that Dean is not a GREAT choice but..Would he even Dyno somebody elses engines ?

Re: revolution restoration

its just we have to have a dyno that has an 02 meter and reads air/fuel ratio, and they seem to be hard to find. do you know who i could contact about using burkes old dyno? is it just abandoned?? thanks
