'98 seadoo xp limited. Awesome ski, but tipsy w/ 2 people. i alone take up both seats.. Anyone have stand ups? i've been thinking about getting one.

Raced a Polaris SL1050 in Modified and Superstock in the late 90s. I really like the riding position and stability of the Polaris Hulls, but the Yamaha and Sea-Poos are superior in engine engineering, durability, and HP. Actually, Yammie probably trumps Sea-Doo in durability. The Sea-Doos with parabolic shaped hulls turn much better too (better in racing). One reason Polaris stopped making skis is it cost too much to keep up with Yammies and Doos. There are thousands more aftermarket pieces for these two brands as well.

No matter what ski you have, rip off the oil injection system, and just run pre-mix. Its a whole lot more reliable that way. I found out the hard way how a ski runs with no oil injection.

you know, the IJSBA really could have been huge, but they really didn't market themselves that well, they had a huge market with record sales but they let it get away, some of the best times i ever had was racing ski's would love to still be doing but with the way their rules are you would have to have factory sponsorship to be competitive,
