We just put a similar system in.
The only change I made was using Stainless Lag bolts to secure the deadmen (sp?).
Looks good, Im interested to see how long they really last.

tantrum, you know after 32 yrs the old wood looked great when pulled out of the ground, as a matter of fact they re-used some of it for the spikes around the deadman pole. But the reabarb (sp?) that was pulled from the 'old' is the only thing that did look a little weathered, so that stainless may not have been a bad idea there. Anyway, 32 more yrs is good enuf for me ,,, my kids will have to throw the stainless stuff down for the next 32

That rebar looks brand new compared to what we get here in NJ. The exposed portian between the wall and the pileings is where ours completely decay. Ill take pictures next time Im at the house and post them here.
