I've heard there are noise restrictions as well as speed restrictions (25mph weekends). Also heard there are no bars on the lake, just a couple spots to raft off and hang out.

I live just South of Walltowallpackemin!!! Decent size lake, ramps are horrible for the most part, public ramp is good, but overloaded with New Yorkers towing boats with lincolns and caddy's... funny as hell, again packed ramp. Nothing on lake to visit and not many coves.... I'm so close and we don't even go up there.... Raystown, Chesapeake, Hudson, OCMD...

Last I was up there, 2003, I didn't see anything about speed limits or noise concerns.

Smith Mt. Lake is an awesome place and the water will be much warmer than the Poconos!!!

32' is too much boat for that lake.........and yes there is a speed limit on weekends, 35 I believe.

Also, you are not allowed to sleep on your boat at any marina. In other words, you'll have a big target on your boat for the fish cops to hit.
