You guys have fun! Hopefully Arlene won't ruin the run, BUT it's suppose to be a "Soggy" weekend on Merritt Island, where we are having the CFFW poker run!

Dean, no. I had a MAJOR skin cancer surgery last Thursday and another one this afternoon. I get the stitches out of the first one Tuesday. Right now I have (including internal) over 300 stitches in my back. Skin doctor forbid me to do the run, hell I couldn't even ride in a vehicle until Sunday. :rolleyes:

This is the third boating even in two years that have been phucked up by skin cancer surgeries. These were #'s 38 and 39 PLUS they did 3 more biopsies on me Tuesday but don't know those results yet.

I am totally pissed about this....:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I must say there was a drastic change in the weather from this morning to this afternoon ....crystal clear and hot to cool windy and Rain ... but I just came in from walking the dog and its dead still and the stars are out ..... They said on the news that Saturday would be the worst day but I think the weather guys get a woody every time one of these storms pop up and sometimes make it seem a little worse than it will be .. :rolleyes:

OSO Steve had trouble locating a part, coupled with the weather he's out.

I, however, am soldiering on.... :eek:

If anyone needs a place to crash in J'ville I have a room at the Hyatt that I will be in for Fri/Sat nights. 2 beds with a water view.

Also, if anyone has a spot I would surely like to go along on the Poker Run.

Thank "LS". These are #'s 38 and 39. It's at the point I'm used to gettng cut. It's just a PITA when it inteferes with a boating even and this is the third run in two years I've missed because of a skin cancer surgery.

NOAA.COM showing 60% chance of thunderstorms Sat in Jax.
We'd be driving 6 or 7 hours through a tropical storm with the truck and boat, and that doesn't sound like a lot of fun.

7am wind and rain ..radar looks pretty bad ..... Rick Lanier is coming over {upthecreek} and we plan to go out in the boat to watch the fun ....but I dont see much fun today .... St. Johns River can get pretty rough ...

Joe .. we looked around for ya . ..well .. actually looked around for Deb ... :D .... what I was told is they will do the Poker stuff tonite at the dinner and a Fun run Tomorrow ? If that is true we might be interested in signing up for tonite ? Get to mingle with all you Big dogs and maybe win some Stuff !!!
