TRS are spinning out. V's are spinning in. U-joint centerline to propshaft centerline on a TRS (25.12") vs a V (18.7")...V is 6.45" shorter.

You are right, put alot of study in before I mounted them. They are as high as I could put them, without pluging the transom & moving eng's up. X About 2" below the surface of the bottom. Takes forever to plane and slips real bad comming out of the whole, but once it comes over ,hold on...............any comments....................anyone

Boat: 88' Cig Top Gun
Full cabin ,all fiberglass
850Ft lbs per eng. Supercharged
12,000 lbs
17x29 cleavers 1.50:1 ratio

I have always wondered if a Speedmaster Drive would fit the TRS transom assembly. Can you still get parts for a number V drive??? by the way that is a sweet ride!!!

Let us know when you do, would be interesting to see what difference it makes....is everything else motor wise the same as it was only the drive change?
