Rescue Tape.....a must for all boaters!!
 

I ran across this stuff called "Rescue Tape" today at a boat show in Pomona, CA. This is a must, especially for offshore boating. I was prety impressed with what it's capable of.....

It's Self-Bonding
Withstands 700 PSI of Pressure!
Insulates 8,000 Volts per layer!
Withstands 500 Degrees of heat!

Sounds like mil. spec. F4 tape?

So I presume it's no longer acceptable to use duct tape, baling wire and chewing gum?

Duct tape and other tapes will leak...besides, alot of other tapes (including duct tape) won't stick to wet surfaces well. This stuff is awesome. It's great, cheap insurance to fix a fuel leak, water leak, etc...

A pack was $20.00 for 3 rolls at the boat show. I think normal pricing is $27.00
