What GPS Would You Buy
I have been watching the Garmin 182c for a long time and it has finally gotten in my price range. But after going on there web site I see a new 192c. The way I read the description it sounds like you don't need any of the extra software to use on coastal waters or inland lakes. Does anyone have one of these or do you know anything about them. The charts that I would buy for the 182 are $149. for coastal and $109. for lakes. Just need some advice here.
Thanks Mark |

I have a 182C and like it but if I were to buy one now I would go with the 172C and save some money. It is $464.00 with an internal antenna from gpsdiscount

I have the Garmin 182C-delivered a boat from Homestead, Fl. to Norfolk, Va. and brought my 182C with necessary chips to navigate. It did a great job. :D

Second vote for the 276C. A great GPS, portable, mountable, configurable for marine or highway use, color, etc. very versatile.

Thanks for all the input, now I have another option to look at.
eMotiondriver, I think they all work or they would not be on the market. Next time you go to buy a car or a truck just get "One that works".... |
