I only hope that the people who know what is REALLY going on up there show up at those hearings in force and let their feelings be known in a respectful manner.
I could understand if, and if the key word here, speed were the real issue with regards to safety that a limit might be considered. It's not. "They" are using speed as a thinly veiled attempt to rid Lake Winnie of the offshore boats, which has been discussed time and time again. "They" don't want our boats on "their" lake. I'll bet the offshore crowd is the most courtous and respectful group on that lake. Yet we take the heat because of our "high profile". Fight the good fight guys. And never say die.......Good luck.....Russ |
Re: Att: New Hampshire Boaters
In the news today...
http://www.boston.com/news/local/new...ct_lake_speed/ They should also start a motion to rename the lake "Winnipoo-poo" or maybe "Winni-foo-foo". All boats must be driven wearing a cardigan sweater, collared shirt, and bow-ties are prefered. If a family member is named either Buffy, Skippy, or some other country club-type name, you get $10 off your boat registration. You will be cited $25 if no Grey Poupon is on board. Azzwipes!!! Good luck guys! But beware of Quakers in high offices... |
