Impressive NYC Poker Run for Outerlimits
"Big Soldier" is King of the Hudson, first overall to the Bridge.
Vinny did a great job in Color me Bad, a 36' skater. Almost all of the first 10 V-Hulls were outerlimits. |

The Ocean trip up to New York. The boats and engine compartments at the pits, along with the very trucks that pulled them there!

Thanks guys!
The funny thing is most of the shots over the bow I wasn't even looking. I just put my hands up in the air and took shots at random... :drink: Afterall, there were times we were doing 80, 90, 100mph. The one shot was at 122 mph with many more rpm's to go. They run 6500 rpm max  We were only at 5200 rpms @ 122mph... :drink: |

Had a wonderful time and you guys were great. Enjoyed the run and I will be back next year Steve 41 Velocity--Ilmor 625 V-10's |

What happened with the one truck being towed out of the ramp by a tow truck??
Beautiful pictures by the way. One run I hope to do some day when I get my speedboat. :D:D |

Beautiful pictures by the way. One run I hope to do some day when I get my speedboat. :D:D It was suggested to disconnect the trailer from the truck and just try to pull it out by itself. I believe it worked. I didn't have time to stick around for the outcome. Needed to get back to the pits. Glad you enjoyed the photos! :drink: |
Re: Impressive NYC Poker Run for Outerlimits
There were no starting issues, Big Soldier is the King of the Hudson. Everybody started at the same time.
Big sildier is a 47 GTX w/ 1500 Sterling Power. This year was more a test of driving ability and rough water handeling, take Bob Russell and Mike Fiore, they finished right behind Color Me Bad, and the boat they were driving is a Vinylester 42 GTX w/ 1075 mercs that tops out at 125 mph. |
Re: Impressive NYC Poker Run for Outerlimits

Re: Impressive NYC Poker Run for Outerlimits
Big Solsier can run over 150 mph. It has a full cabin, but otherwise is the same construction as XXX
