Gsmith,
Not much happening for the 525 on our end. The problem with the 525 is the computer. No one has figured out how to re-program it. As part of the kit, Whipple removes the computer and wiring harness and replaces it with a MEFI 4 and new harness, which can be re-programed by a few people. We just don't see it as cost effective at this point to do that in a NA motor to gain 75 or so hp. But, if that is what you want, then we are more than capable of doing it. We do, however, offer a 525 and 575 hp motor with a MEFI 4 computer already on it. I realize it doesn't say Mercury, but it is a lot cheaper, has a better warranty, and can be serviced by any Merc. dealer in the country. Feel free to check out the website or call with any questions that you may have.
Thanks, Eddie.

I just got a new eliminator with the 525 and it is under warranty till 5-06. I ordered it with the intention of putting on a huffer of some sort. I had no idea that there were no upgrades. I don't want to replace the engine. I guess I will have to wait till somebody breakes the computer problem.
