Default Commentary: Whatever Floats Your Boat

New or old, V-bottom or cat—in praise of what makes the go-fast pleasure boat world so great, http://speedonthewater.com/commentar...all-kinds.html.

I wish i could do that good with my words... Its so true, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like my 1973 wellcraft Kona jet boat just as much as my 2001 Donzi ZX.

Sometimes I wonder how much I'd actually enjoy a new 52 MTI or OL if given the chance to buy one. They're fast, dead sexy, and sounds phenomenal, but the associated paranoia would really hamper my fun.

That article makes me think that an older, maybe-not-go-so-fast is right up my alley...

Last paragraph of the article says it all.

I keep thinking about selling mine and picking up a Glad or cat. Mine is so damn easy to use and relatively cheap. No fancy graphics to worry about, dark colored interior etc. I would most likely have just as much fun with less worry running a 20' bowrider (except the speed rush). Nice article.
