Default SML boat ramps

Does anybody know of any boat ramps that aren't too steep at SML? I have used the one at the state park and the public ramp at Hales Ford bridge on the Bedford Co. side. My boat sits low in the back and when I back it in, water ends up coming over the swim platform because not enough of the boat is in the water to float off. I am worried about getting water in the engines while launching it. Thanks for any input.

Not sure where you plan on staying when down there, but the ramp at Bernadslanding.com is not too bad.
