Anyone know the VT boating laws??

I am trying to find out if I can be ticketed for driving my boat with a suspended VT drivers license. I am pretty sure all I need to drive the boat is the boaters safety certificate, (I HAVE ONE) BUT I would like to know for sure. (AND I DON"T WANT TO ASK THE JUDGE)

As far as I know you don't need an automotive drivers license to operate a boat.

Vermont Operating Laws and Regulations

Where abouts is Ferrisburg are you? I'm just up the road in Charlotte.

See ya on the water!

Actually North Ferrisburg..... Closer yet!
I live on Hollow Road. You must know where that is living in Charlotte.

I have read the regulations and decided unless the Judge or the paperwork include the word boat..... I am on the lake!!! :evilb:

I have a blue and white Baja 240 sport.
You may have seen it floating around DEAD just north of Essex NY tonight.
Oh wait you could not have seen it...... NOONE saw me. There were no boats around and there I was with a cooling line broken. DAMN IT.
Oh well the boat is on the trailer and will be fixed tomorrow!

Bummer! I hate it when that happens. It can get a bit "quiet" on this end of the lake. One of the things I like about it. :D

How did you get back to the ramp? Where do you usually launch? I'm suprised we have not crossed paths before.

See ya on the lake.

I got a tow in from a friend of mine..... Thank GOD for a cell phone.
I have the boat on a dock in Otter Creek this year. Last year I used Converse Bay (LAST NIGHT TOO!)

I agree! This end of the Lake is nice and quiet!
