Not really, just venting and wondering how many others have "run into this" situation and maybe someone can get a laugh out of it. Regarding the "firm offer" that was with a boat dealer, with our boat as a trade (I think I may have forgot to tell her about that part of it, though) :evilb: ... the trade in offer is still good, so, maybe, just "fishing" a little (and someone could get a he11 of a deal). If moderator kills this thread, thats OK, too.

Look at the bright side, she is LETTING you buy a bigger boat.
I was expecting the punch line to be that if you get the bigger boat you also have to buy her a bigger diamond ring. Something for you, something for her. Selling the old boat before buying the new one is a wise decision to make. I wouldn't argue that point with my wife for a second. Once the new boat arrives, you won't have the same drive to sell the old one. |
