Engine Timimng Question
 
I have a 496 with 550hp. My distributor (MSD) slipped yesterday and the timing is off. Before I adjust, I want to make sure I know the right numbers. I am pretty sure the initial idle timing is 12 degrees and 3000rpm timing is 34 degrees. Does this sounds about right? Is there more detail needed?
