Default Hydrohoist boat sharing

My friend has a Hydrohoist for his 28 magnum.
Will my 24 Pantera(w/ 1ft narrower beam) fit on the same hoist?
Will there be any problems?

just make sure that with your narrower hull that your boat doesn't "fall thru" the bunks farther and hit the frame of the lift..

Yo Rob,
Measure his 2 rails on the lift and see where they'll hit your hull. Or measure your trailer and compare to his mearsurements on the Hydro. And like Sean mentions ... yours may need more or less clearance to the apex or peek low spot of your hull.

On my new lift the rails could be spaced apart any distance I need to hit my strakes correcctly, but they were not 'high' enuf to get my boat on without scraping the cross beam (I didn't scape it, measured first ) So, I just got thru replacing the rails (Thx Mr.Velocity) with 12'x 12"x 4" and will get me to the height I need.

The rails or bunks on the Hydro Hoist adjust in and out as well as tilt. There should be no problem there. I just bought a unit that handles up to 1200 lb. I have a 29 Fountain and plan to upgrade to a 42. I got this unit wanting to handle both. My concern was the length. The front and back cross members are 17 feet apart. I asked my local Hydro Hoist guy and - No prob said the man, he just made the bunks a bit longer. Now it will do both.

I had a two pole lift before this with motors and cables. Positioning in the wind stunk, frayed cables, sacraficial element replacement, can't get to the outside of the other side, can't get to the drain plug, I could go on.... This blows that setup away. You can add tanks for more weight, they resell easier, every two to three years you bottom paint (salt water here) and the whole thing is a vaccum cleaner motor running on 110. You drive on under power. I have a platform at the stern that let's me change props while on the water and walk to the other side. I love it...
