insurance for a 1987 boat? most I found were 10-15years or less and at least a hull value of 50k Survey a must. Cha Ching $

You can get insurance on most anything. It's a matter of whether it's worth getting or not. On my 86 Formula 302, I only have liability. I figure if I sink it or something, the insurance company is only going to screw me anyway. I'll pay my $130 a year and take my chances.

boat is located in beaumont texas ..insurance is about $400.00 a year with american national..

salt water boat will hurt the price as well but thats still alot of boat for the money. insurance shouldnt be a problem as long as it surveys well.

water in beaumont area is mainly fresh, some brakish areas but not enough to hurt boat
