I think your nieghbors brother lives next to me. We call his wife Mr. Ed., she's the ugliest thing I've ever seen. I started building my 45 x 16 garage on the property line next to his back yard. I have permit, and I know poeple on the home owners board. To my mistake even though I submited the plans and got a handshake aproval from a couple of the members my back stabbing neighbor is making a big stink about it. They are holding a special meeting next week to discuss it. Basically as long as make the the tile roof and stucco match and my setbacks are correct they aren't supposed be able to stop me. But the back stabbing nieghbor, who's known what I'm building since I poured the pad six months ago wants to play stupid. I point blank asked him three or four times if he thought it was a problem, and he always had said it didn't matter. I even borrowed a saw off him the day I was framing it. Now that it's framed he claims he didn't know how big it was going to be and that it's too close to his pool area. I think his wife Mr. Ed didn't realize what ten foot wall looked like next to a six foot fence. So now we have a little war going between us, if the homeowners makes me tear it down I'm getting a lawer and I'm going to cost somebody some money besides just me. This is the same asshat that built a gazebo for his spa and a workshop attachted to his house with electricity in both with no permits. I already let him know that the first person who comes to inspect my job will know all about his projects next door as well. He had the nerve to tell me that wasn't fair. What a joke....
