Vonb, I am with Hideaway and I would like a chance to talk to you. We own thw one with triple in it but would like a chance to present our product whether it twins or triples or whatever engines you decide.

Not based on performance. For performance I would go with OL, I have never ridden in any of them though, which would obviously be the most important thing to do.
My question about the big cabi is.... WHO USES A CABIN WHILE UNDERWAY? It makes no sense unless you are going to spend a lot of time in the cabin. Just a thought.

Running offshore like that...
The OL is an Epoxy hull...
Epoxy is strong, and light... However... light weight isn't all key in rough water, and the stiffness, and thickness of the Epoxy boat make it a "harder" ride if you know what I mean. That boat will be noisy in the water as well.

You really need to run a couple of these boats to see for yourself.

The Blue/White trip 600 39 Gun at Hideaway will certainly get the job done...on reliable power. It has the top end to leave that Donzi, and just about everything else waaaaay behind....and the cruise speed will be where you need it.
I wish I had a pic of that boat. Cool paint job.

Different strokes for different folks. If I could get 2 boats, I'd get a big V - maybe a cruiser. And I'd have a bad ass cat with huge power for pure poker running. Most can only have 1 boat, so it becomes a trade-off like most things in life.

I understand using the cabin for stabbin and getting out of the rain.
But most of these 8-9ft beam boats have cabins like coffins.
Especially after living on 14-16ft beam flybridge cruisers.

$2.75 in South Florida. You'd be amazed how much better the Twin Steps are on fuel than the straight bottoms.

Thanks, but the paint job on the 39' has the new metal flake (I think that's what they call it) and it is absolutely gorgeous. it MUST be seen in person to believe.
