My wife & I would love to be passengers, but we're not getting to the lake until about 6:00 that night. Would LOVE to check out the Cig.

As you guys know, I'm new to the board here. Hopefully I'll get to meet a few of you guys down there. Everybody here has been very friendly and helpful so far.

Well, it's more than what I have right now. My Mustang doesn't do so well when the water gets more than a quarter inch deep or so :D

Who are the good boat dealers at Grand RebarBox? I know of Ugly Johns, but it seems they don't show too much used stuff on their website.

As a final reminder. Spoke with BJ yesterday, since we have combined the OSO fun run with Frankie and Louis poker run boats were looking at somewhere between 120-150 boats. BJ said bring it on no problem. I've told him to max out his staff, have someone give you a ticket and pay for buffet as you come in. Have a couple of places with big buckets of cold beer. He will have all 3 bars open. Its going to be a huge run and that seems to be what everyone wants. so have fun, be very safe , you'll get to meet alot of cool people and see some awesome hardware. It will be very crowded at the docks, so be patient tie up and be respectful of each other boats, and I think we've planned as best as bj and his facilities will hold. also will be at dog days after the run to have a oso get together and listen to dale blue . enjoy jim

Looks like this is going to be the biggest crowd ever. I remember all the people I wanted to meet up with last year but didn't get the chance. I suggested to Jim (wiggler4490) that name tag stickers be make available where we pay for the buffet. We can jot down our screen names and where we're from. Might make looking people up a lot easier. Everyones thoughts?

Someone should post the GPS cordinates for it, I was going to get them on the F&L run but we blew up before we got there :evilb:

The best maps for the lake are at West Marine and are laminated, like $6. I keep one on the boat and one in the office for a refrence!

THIS I gotta see...

I keep testing props and other ideas looking for a little more speed for this years Shootout. So far, I've lost 2mph from last year and getting worse.
Oh well. Can't wait to see y'all on the BD run. Since my memory is almost as long as my coil wire,
I'm hoping I can still put names with the faces.

Running a 26' Cat on the Washing machine water at LOTO, and hearing about all the accidents made my wife and I buy some matching life jackets. We will be wearing them, please don't make fun.

what are the landmarks to look for on the 47 mile marker for this cove where BJ is at?? all i can remember from last time was the stoplight that someone had on there lot or ontop of there dock?

well most likely be headed up that way before the run starts!

were going to be in the water around 9 and making a few stops on the way to BJ so well probably have to leave for BJ around 10 am

Be sure to come up and introduce yourselves everyone. There will be a large amount of people there so don't be intimidated. As self appointed entertainment director it's my job to meet everyone. (especially the women) :evilb: It's tough putting names and faces together from a computer screen.

Guys Later and I are sitting at the 7 mm waiting for the weather to clear up. As soon as it clears we will be heading out to Frankie and Louie.
What is the plan if the weather clears up? Are what watering hole are we going to meet at.
