Contributions for the Smoke on the Water tragedy

If you would like to make a contribution of any amount, please mail your check to:

A memorial fund has been set up in Rhode Island, by friends of John Desousa, to benefit his family. That fund is the John Desousa Memorial Fund, C/O Columbus Credit Union, 560 Main Street, Warren, RI 02885.

I also understand a separate fund may have been set up in Wisconsin to benefit Michael Scaffidi’s family

Many have already donated to this cause and it is greatly appreciated by all.

Thank you.

Re: Contributions for the Smoke on the Water tragedy

Bob and I have contributed $2000 to the fund and we are paying to put up the family of the man that is missing while search efforts continue in the area

We raised over $38,000 for the Make A Wish foundation of Michigan on Friday night and we raised over $10,000 Saturday night to contribute to the Families of the accident victims

I have never been associated with a better bunch of people in my life who gives so much from there heart as well as there wallets

From Bob, Gregg, Cherie' and myself as well as the rest of our staff we would like to say thanks to all that have contributed to support these families

And to the men and women who helped in the rescue efforts, God has a special place for you for your selfless efforts to help those who could not help them selfs Thank you all

I'm headed downstairs for lunch and dropping my contribution in the mail on the way. Nice job to all that helped on the scene and are continuing to help in the aftermath.

we put some money in the collection bin at the dinner Saturday night. I was planning on sending more, and I would really like to know more information about the victims and the needs of the family. I have heard conflicting stories on the 20 yr old, some said he had a 6 month old baby and some say he is survived by his parents. Who is the gentleman that is missing, some here seem to know him and he seems acquainted with OL, did he own one.
