Default First Run On a New Donzi 35 ZR

Took a new 35 ZR with 525s out today for a sea trial and all I can say is WOW what a ride at 4000 rpms I was running 74 mph. cruised at 3200 Rpms doing 66 mph and aired her out at 94 mph, I just can't believe the ride of this boat its incredible runs more like a 38, Now I just got to get my wife to say get one!!

I will have more Tomorow once she is in for the Customer that bought her. NJ now has (3) 35 ZRs running around one with 496s and 2 with 525s, I didn't have the pleasure of driving the last 525 boat the boat pulled in the driveway and the customer took her by land, he owned a step bottom Donzi Scorpion before the ZR and didn't want to sea trial her.

I was really looking forward to seeing this boat at the Miami show after hearing about its performance numbers but I was very disappointed in the poor access of the doorway to the cabin from the cockpit. It seemed very akward to get through (and I weigh under 200 lbs.). It just seems at this length of boat a little more thought coulf of gone into this area! Steve

Actually the door and the cabin have changed. The door is bigger and the boat has a V-berth they pulled the door more foward and with a boat that has a full cabin and runs into the 90s Donzi hit a home run with this one

Frank, please refrain from posting anything else about these boats. I really don't want to go that far in debt, but that boat really does it for me.
