Re: 598ci Dyno Numbers
Great numbers, I'll bet you are pleased. It's going to be hard on the drive though.

Re: 598ci Dyno Numbers
Nice power. You should be running real fast!

Re: 598ci Dyno Numbers
Very impressive for hydralic roller motor and mufflers! What timing did you end up running ~32ish? How big is the Dominator?
I would've like to seen what happened on a pull to 6400. Do you think the oil pan is big enough? :D :drink: |

What kind of ballance it that ?? I dont reconize it. |
Re: 598ci Dyno Numbers
NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT!! Great numbers for an N/A motor. Should be a screamer in your boat when dialed in. Good Luck!

Re: 598ci Dyno Numbers
Very Nice! I like the "relatively" mild cam made possible I'm guessing by excellent head flow numbers.

Re: 598ci Dyno Numbers
Thanks guys. The timing was at 38 deg. We pulled hard down to 3500 with no detination on 91 octane.
JC PERF, how old was the damper that came apart? |
Re: 598ci Dyno Numbers
Hmm. must have been a defect.

Re: 598ci Dyno Numbers
Nice numbers! Be careful with that 38 degree timing setting. Dyno and boat are not exactly the same. Particularly when running WOT for extended periods. I run a similar 598 using Dart 355 CNC heads, solid roller, 10:1 and a larger carb. It runs very strong at 32 degrees of timing. Good luck!

Re: 598ci Dyno Numbers
My Y2k had a procharged 500 in it at one point and they said they were running 94. Supposedly pushing 750 HP. If that's true.....well, you better wear a PFD!!! :D
