Any Reccomendations Or Really Could Use A Good Education On Heads For These Big Motors

AFR, if you go with aluminum. Are you looking for aluminum heads.

mark, at mer used the profilers on too olds motors...go back and take a look at the dyno numbers, they speak for themselves like 1240hp at 5800rpm 6.5lbs boost

Everyone here has a favorite for their own reasons, but the guy building your motors should have his own combination and after all isn't that why you picked that builder?

I also like 18 degree dart for this CI motor. Big Chief, Big Duke and Profilers are also good choices. 705 is a BIG motor!!!

To get 8:1 compression on a 705 you need a total combustion space volume of over 200 cc. Since big chief style heads were designed for 15:1 drag racing engines, they have very small combustion chambers (65-80cc). What piston would you run?

What if your going to build your own?? I am looking at 650" or maybe 665" NA... I like the idea of the Dart 383cnc's.. but I am guessing..
