Re: check this copy cat oso link
Yeah,
What's up w/ that? I had it book marked in my favorites and it used to direct me here now it sends me to... http://offshoreonly.com/ |
Re: check this copy cat oso link
The same people that own this site own the site you referred to. In computer-speak, www.offshoreonly.com is what is referred to as a sub-domain of the parent "offshoreonly.com" domain.
They basically just need to point the top-level domain "offshoreonly.com" to the same IP address as "www.offshoreonly.com" If you "ping" both addresses you will see that they are pointed to two different IP addresses. In other words, don't panic. There is only 1 offshoreonly.com and it is all good! ;) Besides, if someone really tried to scam offshoreonly.com with a look-alike site I'm sure we could all turn Masher loose on 'em and it would all get solved in a day or two! --Kevin J |
Re: check this copy cat oso link
they need to adjust thier dns records so they all point to teh same ip

Re: check this copy cat oso link
HTTP standards say that if the subdomain (www) is not included search for it starting with www. So, for any well structured site with or without the "www" should get you to the same place.
Try http://www.hp.com and http://hp.com |
Re: check this copy cat oso link
