Illmor 625, Best Drive package??
I'm very impressed wwith the Illmor. It has great midrange and a 500 hour lifespan, knock sensor, efi, closed cooling and a great warranty and support. Looking at Konrads 540, Imco sc extreme and Teagues platinum. I think the Konrad is the best of all because of the tranny and shear size of the drive, plus has a 750lb torque rating warranty. Does anyone have any experience with these drives. If price wqere the same which one is more reliable and better for resale. thanks. The new 39 MTI at the Chicago poker run had a pair, They also look awesome and performed very well for owner.

Contact Biggus about the Konrads. I like the idea of a tranny too.
But I'd check w/ the boat manufacturer about install of a tranny and moving the COG forward, and see what they think.

Good point!
I like the fact that the engine is aluminum and weighs about #300 less than an steel efi motor. RPM red line is about 5900.
