The LEOPA Poker Run out of Monroe is this Saturday :drink: , followed by a run to Put In Bay and Kelly's on Sunday :drink: So who's gonna be there?

I am not officially in the run, but I will be out and about.

I plan on watching the fleet come into Toledo and maybe rafting off at Gumbos.

The Island trip Sunday is a real possibility.

This summer has been a strange one Donna, first the boat was in serious question, then I was gonna change jobs. Life was unpredictable for a while.

I still plan on joining at some point.

Good chance that I will meet you guys this weekend.

I was just looking at the forecast for this weekend too, it looks pretty good.

Saturday
Northeast winds 10 to 20 knots diminishing to 5 to 15 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.

Sunday
East winds 5 to 15 knots becoming southeast and diminishing to less than 10 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet subsiding to 2 feet or less.


Ms. P, what time is the run suppose to start?

I don't know... the lake Erie that I know won't be so pleasant with a 10 to 20 knot NE wind. (At least at our end.)

I'll be on the lake this weekend, but on the Canadian side. Boating around Pelee Island for the weekend.

You could be right :eek: if the waves stay in the 2-4 range it will probably be ok for most boats involved in the run but if they start getting into the 4-6 ft range it may be a little rough and uncomfortable.




Thanks Fund, I'm not planning on joining the run (boat's too slow :rolleyes: ) but I may head down to t-town and watch them come in, If I do I'll try to get a hold of you, I'll buy the first round :drink:

Ofshore...

My plan at the moment is to find somewhere safe and not in the way to watch em come in to Toledo.

Then I thought that I might head over to the docks and try to meet some people, like Donna.

If you want to hook up prior to them coming in, I will PM you my cell number. The fastest ones will probably be in the Toledo channel by 12:20ish I would guess.

I watched em come in a couple years ago from the portside docks. (Actually they were on my stern and coming fast. Looked like an invasion...) Even that was cool.

I don't know what's going on yet, actually, I thought the run was last weekend but I guess that was just MBC'S regatta, I'll let you know later in the week.

I was getting worried since you did not chime in, glad to hear you will be there. The weather looks perfect, how's the wind? It's almost Friday, I can hardly wait.............. Did you see Mr P at the marina, I hope there were no strange looking blondes hanging around the boat, keep an eye on him until I get there :D

I worked on the boat all day and just as I was getting ready to finish the cabin door decided no to open :eek:

Sooo a few hours later I finally got it to open but too late to take it up to Monroe. I will be there tomorrow around 12:00. Fund and I will be giving rides to the Special Olympic kids.

actually i havent been on as much as usual. been in the shop overtime get'n boats ready :D . i only ran from downtown Toledo out to my marina. i am running up tommorow with Tizbad. i think tonight is the all night bingo game so Mr. P should be safe from trouble :drink: :drink:

So you are riding on the Ocean then :D Fund should stick around longer than six, he has a free dinner offer, ya can't beat that :D Good thing Mr P rarely leaves home for the night, I wind up staying up way to late when he does........
