hmmmmm, i was thinking 20k tops IF the hull is in good shape.

keep in mind, this one can be had for an asking price of 39k w/myco trailer and "appears" to be in good shape (havent seen it in person).

theres also Stans (cig1988) bullet that has already been redone. cant find the link but i think his price is around 45k???

Yea, those motors looked whooped !! maybe the one is not running because there are no belts on it ?

I'd look at the one in Cali. looks in decent shape from the pics....look at the dash, original but no signs of corrosion anywhere.....and you can use the boat while you upgrade it. Spend the Xtra 15 - 20k on that boat....you get the trailer and you save youself 600 hours of work.....or as Craig puts it....an AZZLOAD of time.

There is also a member in NY that has a nice bullet for sale in the 40 - 50k range. Cig1988 ??

Steve that boat looks like it needs everything. I think 35k is a bit lite for the work it need. I would guess by the time you get it done (like in 2007) you'll have over 70k in it. It'll add up fast.

I know the boat out here is more than I thought but it's DONE! Let someone else waste the time and money doing a re-rig and go get a finnished boat. That one looks like nothing but a project. I'm just finnishing off my Fountain and it was three times the work and money that I thought it would be to re-rig and re-power.

I like projects as much as the next guy, but I would not pay 20k for that one...

don't mean to sound harsh, but judging by the amount of corrosion in the bilge, that boat looks like it sank...

it's terrible to see how poeple let stuff go...

stan's boat is the best bang for the buck out there...

Yeah I agree. The best project boat would be one that doesn't look like anythings wrong. That boat looks like it needs to be gutted, plugged, painted, and re-rigged from scratch. It's a pretty big project and if you're paying someone to do it, an expensive one!
