A few weeks ago I asked members what they thought about me selling my Cat to a person in Europe and I received a lot of advise from members and I can't begain to thank you for your advise.. as a tip Im willing to sell a 20,000 dollar Bank Of America Cashier Check for a good 200.00 Check!!The one that I will sell, you should be able to bounce all the way to Europe, Its that rubbery.So guys thanks, I think that I will now just keep my boat..
By the way, did any of you that received these checks try and do anything about getting them arrested? I notified the Bank, The postal inspector and also yahoo since he is a member of theirs and so far the only one that seems to care is Yahoo!
All the Postal Inspector said is that scam has been going on for years,Didnt even ask me my name! He most likely is a part time noise checker and has to have his time to issue tickets for you guys with loud boats.anyway, Thanks again!!

How long did it take for the bank to say the check was fake?

Same day I received it!! We do not have any bank of america banks in our state so I called the one listed on the check where it was drawn (In Texas) and they wanted the routing numbers and then switched me to their security Office which asked me to fax them a copy which I did and they told me right then that it was a counterfit check.Hope this helps some of you!

A buddy of mine who resells motorcycles had someone mail him a check for a bike. He deposited it, it cleared. then 2weeks later the bank pulled the money back out because it was forged. He didn't lose the bike luckly

Some deal here, but I smelled rat right away. Bank said the routing numbers were wrong so they never even bothered to try and cash it. The scammer then took the next step and tried to threaten me with legal action if I didn't return his money. I started to ignore him and have been receiving spam and viruses from him ever since.
