The Lord for fantastic weather and for assuring that there were no serious injuries.

The Racers for extending their warmth and hospitality to Darren and I.....and for being the greatest people on the planet....and for putting out their best on the race course.

Priscilla, Ellen and Mike T. from OSS for allowing us the best seats in the house....

The WHM and Page teams for feeding us nicely.........

We sat and chatted at length with old friends including Pete Hledin from Skater, Jim Goerlitz and Jim Emerson from Mercury Marine, Tom Abrams, Jim Arvis and Mike Tomlinson from OSS, Billy and June Mauff and Jay Muller from WHM, Sick Nick and Justin from East Coast Marine........and even spotted Gerry Gilbreath darting about. We have a very warm spot in our hearts for the Gratton and Page families, who could not have been more hospitable (we even got the "special" cookies . We saw some Jersey Boyz and the pirates from Motley Crew. As a result Darren has enough hats, tee shirts and posters to last all year.

A bunch of OSO'rs came up and said hi as well...... good to see all of you.

The event itself was......... interesting....and I will give my more technical impressions in another post.....for those that care about such things.

But for now....suffice it to say..... Thanks to all for a great weekend.

Roxie will be severely bummed she missed you ..I on the other hand notice old(oops , obsolete) people everywhere I go. Sounds like you and Darren had a good time...that's awsome!
