Consider a Phantom 30' Speedster too. They are all in the same class.

my thought exactly. except the speedster is the canopied race boat. the sportster 30 is a nice pleasure setup.

My activator is fast,(not as fast as yours)but i thought we were
talking about Extremes and Superboats.If it were me looking
for a boat it would be another Activator!!!!

If you are just looking for speed go with the Extreme. If you are looking for an all around boat that family can duck in to a cabin if weather turns crappy and so forth go with the Superboat. Myself if given the choice would pick the Superboat. JC builds a great boat and they perform well in rough water.

If you are going to put Activator and Phantom in the mix for pleasure I would go with the Activator. Out of the four it would be a toss up for me on which to go with. The new 29 seems to have a little more speed then the Superboat but all the info I have on this boat is from Magazines or this board.

Thanks for the comments on the 29 Extreme. All boats listed are great boats and good luck with which ever boat you decide on. The 29 Extreme Shotgun does have a fairly large cabin to duck out of the elements tho. The 29 pictured has a couple of 6.5 Babbs speakers and a 10" sub in the cabin with lighting and alot of storage room. Thanks again, Dave

The last test report I saw on the Activator was pretty impressive over 110mph

All I can say is the 29 Shotgun pleasure with a 496HO has hit 83 mph turning a 29P 4 blade Bravo. I don't know about the other hulls. Dave
