Smoke On The Water 2005 Thank you and some Pics
 

Bob and I would like to first off say thanks to everyone for there support during the tragedy that occurred at the 2005 event, and to once again offer our condolences to the family and friends of those who were involved

We would also like to say a special thanks to the group of men and lady’s who responded and acted immediately to help out after the accident onsite and off site. Your selfless actions were remarkable to say the least. :)

God has a special place for those who put others first with little thought for themselves

We would also like to thank Gregg, Kathy, Cherie’, and the rest of our staff for there tireless efforts in helping us put on such a large event.

We raised over $38,000 on Friday Night for the Make–A-Wish Foundation and on Saturday night we raised over $25,000 for the families of the victims involved in Saturdays tragedy, with much more raised in the weeks that followed for the Mike and Johnny fund

With all that said, we felt it was time to post some pictures of the event from our photographers

Thanks for posting the pictures Marc. I know it was a very difficult time for you but I just want to let all of you know that I think you put on a great event and did a very good job of dealing with the situation. I will be back again next year.
And thanks to Brandon for talking me into going in the first place.

For anyone that has not been, this is a really wonderful event. It attracts some of the best hardware around, it is organized to the hilt, and makes some awesome wishes come true for some really special kids.

Marc, Bob and staff, you guys really do a great job.

:D Thanks Mark. I was trying to count the crew in that picture, if it was taken on the last leg our group had multiplied from 8 to 11 as we picked up passengers from broken boats. Good thing we had the mondo condo :D

does any one kno where i can get a pic of the 42 ft gtx outerlimits boat before the crash on july 9th 2005 lake michigan smoke on the water poker run? i've been trying to find a picture of my cousin johnny (mustang) desousa before the tragedy.... he was a great kid...we miss him dearly... if any one cane help please email me ...
