I always see poople talking about the bearings and everything. All that is no good if you loose the castle nut and pin. So I would add that to the list as well. Put it all in a zip lock ready to go :D

I lost a bearing a few days ago. autozone didnt know what the chit i was talking about.

I ordered 2 sets. now i have one ready just in case.

A great thing is the Dewalt cordless impact gun. Saves alot of time if you can't get off the highway.

The 4 way wrench is a must unless you have a good breaker bar and an extension to reach into the wheel. I also carry fix a flat and a plug set with the glue and all. If all fails you can tow another trailer behind and dump the broken one. I know i am not crazy when i say I saw a truck towing a small boat with a sand rail behind it. It was not a 5th wheel and I swear the sand rail hitch was attached to the outdrive on the boat. In any case he had IL plates so he had made it hundreds of miles with no one telling him to stop. The sand rail was on the ground but I can't believe this would matter. I have never seen this except behind a 5th wheel. In any case he was a tool.

If you're running "Bearing Buddies" take along two extras, so you can replace it when you "throw" it.
