anyone know how much the bravo to arneson conversion kits that bolt up cost? any experience with them?

Below is exactly what Rik emailed me when I was inquiring about the same thing, note though, this was in Nov. 2002. I ended up selling first so I never got to do the conversion.


The Arneson does not require any of the parts from the Bravo. The ASD6/Bravo Conversion kit will give you everything that you need to use the Arneson on the boat. Our standoff box will cover the cutout of the Bravo eliminating the need to re-glass the transom.

The ASD6 Bravo Conversion Kit includes the following:

Char-Lynn Hydraulic Helm Unit
Gil HD Rear Engine Mount
HD Drive Plate
HD Bellhousing
New Modified Velvet Drive Transmission 900 HP rating.
Drive Line
Arneson Standoff Box
