Weathers looking questionable, this could dampen the attempt. I was planning on staying and boating Sun. also
Sat. showers, Sun. wash out. Hope it changes. It's only rained 1 Sat. this summer, we don't need #2 now. JC

I'll be there. Meeting up outside the clinton river around 10:00 - 10:30 and leaving as a group from there. Anyone is welcome to show up!!! I hate tying up to idiots, so the more offshores the better.

We'll be there. Even if the weather scares some people away, the record is only 1450 or so. We should be able to do that with our eyes closed. :D

thats it? Come on people. We are meeting at the clinton river at 10-10:15 waiting for a group from Belle Maer, then shooting down to pick up more at Metro then heading over to the raft off. Who else is coming? We have a powerquest, baja, powerplay, couple cigarettes, formula. Need more boats :D

Hope you guys pull it off. I bailed, cant tow the boat for an hour to drive in the rain, I'm bummed. I always stay over somewhere and Sun. is a wash. I need a bimini top for the 3 times I would use it. JC

It happened :D , day turned out real nice, and I am even a little sunburned :D We had dinner at The Crews Inn, and then spent the night at Metro. It rained hard during the night when we were sleeping and then pulled the boat this morning and got home with just a little bit of rain on the boat. We don't have a top on the boat, and we are glad we left the carpet in the garage, I have a few throw rugs to use for times like this.

They say around 1,700 boats were tied together. We walked down the center for close to an hour in one direction and still did not reach the end :eek: , the only OSOer we saw was DKWestern. If anyone saw a girl in a cowboy hat pushing a raft with a little Yorkie on it that was me.

Like always we forgot the camera :D I was amazed at how nice it turned out, we got there a little on the late side and tied up around 3.00 and except for some rain drops around 2:00 when we were getting the boat launched it turned out to be pretty nice out there. Even today strated out grey and since 1 we have been having a lot of sun. I was dissapointed not to see more people from Oso threre.
